                       A Blog, of Sorts

Here for the reading...

You'll  encounter many subjects here,  over  time: classical  music (mostly classical, anyway), poets and poetry, gardening, enjoyment of nature, cats and other animals; baseball, children's stories, meditations for  the seasons  of the  church-year, allusions  to current  issues and  events, and  undoubtedly other  discussions. These are a few of our favorite things, to borrow from Fräulein Maria/Julie Andrews quoting Oscar Hammerstein in The Sound of Music.

When we do  talk about faith here it won't be in a way that relates only to “church” but not to your daily life (or to anything else you read here). We understand faith to be the support unit that undergirds the whole  bookshelf of life, so to speak; it’s  not merely  one book on the  shelf. Our world-view is informed by biblical Christianity, the non-sectarian faith that C.S. Lewis called "mere Christianity."

Whoever you are, if you're interested in anything you read here (whether you agree with it or not), you belong here and you’re welcome here.

So we hope: 1. That you'll read our web stuff; 2. That you'll enlist our editorial or writing services when you need them; 3. That you'll buy and read our books, the first of which is the poignant life-and-music-and-faith story of composer George Frideric Handel.
