About the author: Marian Van Til has an M.A. in music history from the State University of New York. Marian has taught music from elementary school to university and has been a church musician since age 13. After 16 years as a writer and senior editor for a Christian publishing company in Canada, Marian shifted gears. Since 2000 she has freelanced so that she has time to fulfill a long-time dream: researching and writing books; this is her first. Marian and her husband, Edward Cassidy, live in New York State with their six cats and half-dozen pond goldfish.
